Commonapp essay:9.5/10(everyone loved it. They think it was amazing...I take 0.5 off because I found 2 tense mistakes)
Supplement: 9/10 I don't talk so how much admissions would like it, but I did put my heart out there. I believe it shows that I am interesting: i talked about my heritage having a grandfather from Kashgar and being descendent of Russo-Uzbekistani immigrant. And how I want to combien middle eastern studies and modern culture and media to make good films that deliver improtant message to people and show them that the Middle East is a beautiful and culturally-rich place but not just as a war zone.
Recs: one from English and other from Physics. They both love me! I would give it a 9/10.
Counselor Rex: 8-9/10? I don't think she knows me that well...but I do show academic strength and good EC activités.
Hook: first generation college? Multi-racial?
Weakness: I don't think my test score and gpa are that outstanding from a Chinese pool...
